Permission for Three Dwellings Secured at Appeal with Costs

Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy was instructed to appeal a decision in Acton Trussell, near Stafford to refuse planning permission for the demolition of a bungalow and erection of 3 dwellings.  The site had previously benefitted from consent but there was ambiguity as to what had been approved and this was making it difficult for the client to dispose of the property. 
 
The Council opted to refuse the application on four grounds: Impact on Amenity, Insufficient Amenity Space, Streetscene Impact and Skyline Impact. 
 
Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy appealled the refused planning permission, presenting robust arguments against the Council's reasons for refusal, and not only secured permission for the development, but was awarded full costs against the Local Authority for their unreasonable behaviour.
